General:

If you are interested for Master and PhD studies in Saudi Arabia, with full scholarship/monthly stipend, pls go through university webpages, find a suitable Prof for you, send your CV and documents including brief research proposals to the prof, and finalize the processing of your application through him/her.

As per my knowledge, there is an acute scarcity of Master and PhD students in Saudi universities. Pls ask for researcher-cum-Master/PhD student positions. It may take 6-12 months to process your application for admission in PhD/Master course. If you are in hurry, pls ask the prof for a researcher position at first, and after few months, you can join as full-fledged student.

Eligibility Criterion: Bachelor/Master of Chemical/Materials Engineering for Master/PhD course. Non-engineering technical degrees such as Industrial Chemistry are also welcome, however, Engineering background students will be preferred.

Pls don’t forget to mention your percentile/grade. It will be an important selection factor.

Scholarship:

Master: SR 2000/month, PhD: SR 3000/month

In addition, Profs having research fund can also support financially, if they feel suitable.

The amount of scholarship is very sufficient for monthly expenses and saving for students.

Tuition Fee and Housing: Free,

Food: subsidized

To and Fro annual airfare: fully supported
